Authenticity is the key for Suzi McIntosh of QScan Radiology

The vivacious Suzi McIntosh brings a generous and caring perspective to her HR role at QScan Radiology. Authentic and with an instinctive desire to connect with family, friends and colleagues, Suzi is all about building relationships.

Tell us a bit about yourself, and your role.

In my daytime role, I’m a Senior HR Advisor – in my 15+ years I’ve looked after a broad range of generalist HR areas and projects in the healthcare field.
My other role is Wife and Mum – to a gorgeous, funny (biased mum view) 2.5 year old.

** We think your daughter is gorgeous too – see the image below**

What are two positives you can tell us about your new situation due to the current COVID working from home climate?

Spending more time together as a family and being ok with slowing down a bit has been fantastic. It sounds strange to say, but it’s made us realise and acknowledge we actually really like each other’s company.

My husband has also been working from home (he is set up upstairs, I’m set up downstairs). He comes down at 3pm each day to make us both a cuppa, which I think is pretty good service 😉

What is the best career advice you have received?

That there is not much that can’t be resolved over a beer/wine/coffee (take your pick!) Not sure if that is career advice, or simply work/life advice – But in other words, build good relationships, trust, and be real/authentic.

Describe Majer in three words:

  • Reliable,
  • Trustworthy,
  • Fabulous!
